I'm a Research Scientist in the Visual Intelligence team at Yahoo Research, where I work on bringing novel machine learning approaches to applications in commerce, ads, and content. I earned my PhD in physics at UC Berkeley, working in the Redwood Center for Theoretical Neuroscience with Mike DeWeese on natural stimulus statistics and models of sensory processing.
